Interesting times for Sutrastore... First we did a gig on a boat with Bonobo of which we have some beautiful pictures right here (merci Laura!). Then we did a video clip for Zero Point with mysterious guest appearances by Mr. Rabbit...



And last saturday we played a really nice set at Togenblik, in support of Sweet Coffee. More gigs coming up this month: November 18th in Westrozebeke, November 25th in Ieper, and on December 2nd we'll be playing at the International Short Film Festival in Leuven!

It's been a bit quiet here, but that's just because we're working hard on a new album and, well, you know, we don't have much to say about that yet... :) But we have some nice gigs coming up this fall as well! We're quite excited about this one: on Monday the 30th of October, we will be opening up for the talented Bonobo, signed on the famous Ninja Tune label! Place to be is the Biouel Boat at the Havenlaan/Avenue du port in Brussels. Doors open at 19h30, you can get your tickets here.

Because of an unexpected change in Kaatje's examination schedule we won't be able to make it to the WroclawNonStop festival. Which is a real pity because we think it's going to be such a nice event... Hope to make it next year!

On May 21, we will be closing the Brussels Jazz Marathon, a fine cocktail of different musical styles in the center of Brussels. Sutrastore will be closing the evening around 23h at 'De Monk'. No entrance fee anywhere, so no reason for you not to be there!

Last but not least we would like to thank everybody who supported us during the Emergenza finals at the Botanique. We didn't win, but we had a really good time playing for such a devoted audience! Thank you very much! You guys are great!

On May 9 we're playing the Belgian finals of the Emergenza international music competition at the Botanique. Thanks to your votes we ended up first in all previous rounds! We'll be needing your support again now. Although this time a jury selects the winner, this jury can only choose from a selection of 6 made by the public present at the finals... If we win at the Botanique, we can play the European finals in Tilburg and then we have the international finals in Hamburg. In the end, the prize is a tour to the US and recording a full CD at an international top studio! So we need you all at the Botanique on May 9! Presale tickets cost 12 EUR, but can be obtained from us at 10 EUR. For people living close to Westouter, Poperinge or Ieper (West-Vlaanderen, Belgium) there'll be a bus!
